Brighton Pride is just around the corner! So who better for me to talk Pride plans, naughty basslines and dreams of Thailand with than the gorgeous and incredibly busy Missy B…..

Hello, how are you? I’m very well thank you, hope you’re well too

It’s been ages since we talked so please remind us where we can catch you playing? You can find me at Club Revenge every Thursday for FOMO & every Saturday for Sweet Revenge. Every Friday at Hampshire Boulevard, Portsmouth for The Big Weekender and every other Monday for 20Something and of course Tuesday’s at Freedom Bar, Soho.

Are there any new projects in your life? I’m just about to start on the producing and remixing front. Been meaning to do it for ages but I’ve not had the time.

What kind of music are you playing these days? Still a huge mixture of everything chart but with the twist of dirty basslines!

Always a tricky question, but what’s your favourite song of all time? Without a shadow of a doubt it’s Double 99 – RipGroove

Which tune always fills up (or rescues) your dancefloor? That would have to be Rihanna’s We Found Love Ft Calvin Harris. It’s become like a pair of jeans……it will never go out of fashion!!!!

What’s so good about playing in Brighton? I have always loved the diversity of Brighton and the scene. It can be very rewarding at times and has given me huge opportunities – like being asked to play at the biggest Pride event in the UK for the last four years for which I am forever grateful.

What would be your ultimate dream place to DJ and what’s been your favourite ever gig? I would love to go over to Thailand to play at the Full Moon Party!! My favourite gig so far would have to be following on from Ruby Rose in the Girls Dance Tent at Pride last year. The atmosphere in there was amazing and although I was extremely nervous the feeling I got from playing that set to such and incredible crowd is gonna be very hard to top. This Pride Saturday I’m playing at Brighton Pride Festival in Preston Park  in the Girls Dance Tent along with the best female DJs from Brighton and London, then at the Pride Village Party and Club Revenge. On the Sunday I will be supporting Ruby Rose at the Official Pride Closing Party at Shoosh, then on at Club Revenge!

And finally describe yourself in three words This is hard one as I’m my own worst critic. Ok here goes…… Spontaneous, loyal, fun!!
